Soft gelatin capsule filling machine consists of compression system, gelatin melting system, raw material compounding system, shaping and drying system, cleaning system, recycling system etc. During gelatin compression and forming, it can be finalized within the sealed cavity so as to avoid coming across pharmaceutical oxygenation.
All material contact parts are made of SS316L in full compliance with “GMP” standard requirements.

The working principle of Softgel encapsulation equipment is simple and straightforward.

It involves the following key stages and processes:

Step 1: Gelatin Preparation

The softgel encapsulation process begins by preparing a gelatin mixture, which forms the outer capsule. Gelatin, mixed with plasticizers, water, and colorants, is heated into a thick syrup that seals the capsule.

Step 2: Prepare the Softgel Fill Material

The softgel fill material, which can be a liquid, oil-based solution, paste, or semi-liquid, contains specific pharmaceuticals. Once prepared, it is poured into the hopper.

Step 3: Soft Gelatin Capsules Encapsulation Process

Gelatin ribbons move to the die system, where fill material is injected and sealed, forming Softgel capsules that exit through a chute.

Step 4: Processing Soft Gelatin Capsules

After leaving the discharge chute, Softgel capsules are conveyed to a tumble dryer to remove moisture. The capsules are further dried, then sorted, counted, labeled, and packaged.
